Annual National CVA Workshop 2026 — Abuja

The Annual National CVA Workshop will take place from 23rd to 26th February 2026 at AES Luxury Apartment, Abuja, Nigeria. The workshop focuses on the theme "Cash and Voucher Assistance in a Changing Humanitarian Landscape: Funding, Localization, Preparedness and Transition," bringing together humanitarian partners to strengthen collaboration and improve cash and voucher assistance programming.

Emmanuel Humanitarian Foundation was represented at the workshop by its Cash and Voucher Assistance officer, Mr Emmanuel I. Hangerior.

Consortium Agreement — EHF, MANGRI & UHCF

On 14 August 2026, EHF, Mara-Ngorheme Regreen Initiatives (MANGRI), and Usaku Health Care Foundation (UHCF) officially signed a consortium agreement to strengthen their partnership. The consortium aims to promote coordinated efforts, enhance resource sharing, and improve the implementation of sustainable development and humanitarian initiatives.

This collaboration reflects the partners' shared commitment to delivering greater impact and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities.

Cash Working Group Workshop — Jimeta-Yola

On 11–12 August 2026, the Emmanuel Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) participated in the Cash Working Group (CWG) Workshop held at Mama Chare Hotel, Udli Close, Off Ganye Road, Karewa GRA, Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa State.

EHF was represented by Christiana Ejirge Reuben, Head of Operations, and David Gideon Yohanna, Human Resources Manager, who actively engaged in discussions and learning sessions on cash programming and humanitarian coordination. The two-day workshop strengthened EHF's commitment to collaboration, capacity building, and delivering effective cash and voucher assistance to vulnerable communities.

Project 01

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness & Sanitary Pad Distribution

On 6 December 2025, Emmanuel Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) conducted a menstrual hygiene awareness campaign and distributed 50 sanitary pads to adolescent girls and young women in Pariye Community, Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The intervention improved menstrual health knowledge, promoted proper personal hygiene practices, and encouraged open discussion around menstruation. Participants received guidance on menstrual health management, proper use and disposal of sanitary pads, hand hygiene, and breaking stigma and misconceptions associated with menstruation.

Project 02

Humanitarian & Peacebuilding Visit to Anguwan Rukuba

On 6 April 2026, Emmanuel Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) conducted a humanitarian and peacebuilding visit to Anguwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, following the recent attack that affected the community. The visit aimed to engage women and young girls in discussions on peacebuilding, conflict prevention, social cohesion, and community resilience. During the advocacy session, participants received education on peaceful coexistence, dialogue, non-violent conflict resolution, and the critical role of women and girls in promoting peace and stability within their families and communities.

The intervention provided a platform for affected community members to share their experiences and discuss practical approaches to preventing future violence. Participants expressed commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and unity despite the challenges arising from the recent attack. The visit strengthened awareness of peacebuilding principles, encouraged community participation in conflict prevention efforts, and reinforced the importance of continuous dialogue and reconciliation. EHF reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through peacebuilding initiatives and recommended sustained engagement, community-based peace committees, and regular awareness campaigns to foster lasting peace and resilience in Anguwan Rukuba.

Project 03

2026 Tree Planting Campaign — GDSS Rugudum & GDSS Mafer, Madagali

The 2026 Tree Planting Campaign was conducted by Emmanuel Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) in collaboration with Mara-Ngorheme Regreen Initiatives, Naibah Heritage Foundation, and Gidam's Care Foundation from 22–23 July 2026 at GDSS Rugudum and GDSS Mafer in SS Vapura Ward, Madagali LGA, Adamawa State, Nigeria. A total of 750 students, school staff, principals, and community leaders participated in planting 750 tree seedlings, comprising 500 Mahogany and 250 Olive seedlings.

The campaign strengthened environmental awareness, promoted climate resilience, and encouraged student participation in ecosystem restoration and sustainable environmental management. The project was implemented at approximate GPS coordinates 10.7550° N, 13.5740° E (WGS 84), providing a reference for humanitarian reporting and GIS mapping.

Project 04

Tree Planting Campaign 2026, Phase Two — Mukuvinye Hlidi B, Hong

On 15 August 2026, the second Tree Planting Campaign of the year was conducted in Mukuvinye Hlidi B Village, Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State, Nigeria. During the campaign, 250 Olive seedlings were distributed to community members to promote environmental restoration, sustainable land management, and climate resilience. The approximate location of Mukuvinye Hlidi B is Latitude 10.2460° N and Longitude 12.9330° E.

Community leaders and residents actively participated in the distribution exercise and pledged to properly plant and maintain the seedlings. The campaign reinforces EHF's commitment to increasing tree cover, improving biodiversity, and supporting long-term environmental conservation in Hong LGA, Adamawa State.

Across both phases, EHF distributed a total of 1,000 tree seedlings in 2026 — 750 at GDSS Rugudum and GDSS Mafer in SS Vapura Ward, Madagali LGA, and 250 at Mukuvinye Hlidi B in Hong LGA.
